Part of the fun of Thanksgiving at Drew's parent's house was going through a trunk of Drew's old baby things that his mother saved. There were little momentos, scrapbooks, art projects, and a few special clothing items that someone hand-made for him. There were two cute, blue button-up sweaters that Drew's grandmother made for him -- one with a little hat to match. And, then there was this silly little sweater that a friend made for him.

The jury is still out on whether we will put our child in it, but it's cute in its own sort of silly way.

And, then, there were these adorable shoes. I'm not sure it gets any more early 80's than this. Blue Astro shoes with Pacman shoelaces. Mom Shirk said that a friend who moved to England purchased these for Drew as a gift, sent them in the mail, and by the time they arrived, he was only able to wear them once before he outgrew them. And, yes, our little boy will probably wear these. :)

Lastly, there was Drew's cherished "Doggie." That was the name for this little friend that went everywhere with Drew as a toddler and young child.

Makes me wonder what the things will be that we will tuck away for our children.
