It is an annual struggle. Every year at Christmas time, I look back through the year's pictures, and I search for Christmas card-worthy photos. This year, however, I found that we had an especially remarkable lack of photos that the two of us were in. And, those that we did have were not good photos at all. Enter our dear friend, Lindsay Fauver. Lindsay is an amazing woman. She is currently working two jobs -- doing both of them incredibly well. She is on Greek IV staff (meaning, she works with the Greek students at CNU and loves on them and tells them about Jesus), and she is the marketing director for a local Chick-fil-a. Oh, and PS...this girl got me hooked on Chick-fil-a this year. When one of your good friends works there, and you hear mention of it frequently, it makes you want it!!! "So, I was working at Chick-fil-a today..." (Suzy's Brain: "Shoot, now, I want Chick-fil-A!!!") Anyway -- she's just a super talented, beautiful, wonderful gal. She is one of the busiest people I know, but she constantly manages to find time to care for friends and neighbors, and I love that about her. She also happens to be a talented photographer. She sold her camera a little over a year ago to help pay for her wedding, so she hasn't been behind the lens much in the last year or so. But, she hasn't lost her touch for it. I asker her to just snap a few photos of us, so we would be able to document this phase of life, and have some Christmas card pictures. She borrowed a camera from a friend, and it turned into a full photo shoot! It was so very fun, and it means so much to us to have some good pictures together during this time. We had exactly ZERO pictures together since I have been pregnant. None! And, we knew that maternity pictures were not going to fit into the budget before this baby is born. (Home renovations to prepare for him take priority.) So, it is such a huge blessing to us to have a friend who is willing to use her talents to help us document this time. So, here are a few of our favorites -- the fruits of her labor. :)
