It was a chilly day in Newport News. When we awoke this morning, it was only about 25 degrees out. We took Toby for a walk with a couple of his dog friends, and their owners who happen to be our friends, as well. After that, we set out on a hunt for nursery furniture -- down to Hampton, then across the water to Norfolk and Virginia Beach, then back up to Newport News with nothing. However, we drove to a store just about a half mile from our house this evening, and found a dresser/changing table on clearance that we purchased. It's a great little piece that should last us well into the toddler/young child years, if we wish.

And, now, we have just finished another evening of reading by the fireplace, and there are the first snowflakes of winter falling outside. An enjoyable evening, indeed. :)
