Stay tuned.  It's Fall.  That's means I want to blog again.  I've noticed this pattern over the years.  So, stick with me, the very, very few of you who still venture over here now and then.

The quick update on our family -- we have been mostly well.  Chapman is growing like the proverbial weed.  He is 18 months old this week!  These days, he loves giving lots of hugs and kisses (melts his momma's heart every time), watching "Melmo" videos on our computers (Elmo is officially a rock star in this house), and playing with Toby, whose name apparently can also be pronounced, "Pooby" or "Peeby", according to Chapman.  Chapman also just learned how to jump and actually leave the ground.  For the past few months, he would "jump", and his whole body would pop up, but the feet would never actually leave the ground.  He's pretty excited that he's figured out the mechanics of actually getting air.

Drew continues his work with ROTC cadets.  He enjoys the job quite a bit.  I've been doing pretty well, too.  I'm really enjoying this phase with Chapman.  Things have gotten quite a bit easier in the last few months.  We're down to one long nap a day, he is eating what we're eating for the most part, not nursing anymore, etc...  All of those things make my time a little more flexible, and I'm enjoying having that freedom again.  I'm having a good amount of time to read, and do little projects around the house, and do things for our church.  I like it.
