I apologize for the break in posting -- the reason, however, is that our day-to-day lives really aren't all that interesting, and we have nothing interesting to write about. But, I figured it was about time to add a little something.
I turned 24 a little over a week ago, and Drew took me out to dinner and to a bed and breakfast to celebrate. It was a lot of fun! This particular bed and breakfast, located in very nearby Manitou Springs, had lots of really neat antiques and art. It was fun just walking around the old house to take it all in. It was perched on a little hillside in Manitou, so it had great views, too. And the bathroom in our bedroom was by far the fanciest bathroom I have ever seen....ever. I've posted some pictures from our little excursion. Pictures of us dressed up are from our dinner; all others are just from our time at the B&B.
Other than this, nothing incredibly noteworthy has been happening around here. Poor little Toby got the "snip snip" on Friday, so it's been an interesting weekend, with him recovering and all. He has one of the little cones on his head, to keep him from licking, and that's been a big source of frustration for all of us. I can't wait until he can be back to his normal self. And why not...I'll post a picture of the little guy in his cone, as well.
That's all from here, for now. I really need to learn how to use elements of this blogger thing a little better, because the order of the pictures got out-of-whack and I couldn't figure out how to change it. Oh well, you get the idea. Have a good week everyone!
