I don't have much time to post today, but I wanted to anyway. We have to leave shortly for our second day of a marriage retreat at our church. (The retreat is actually at church this year, rather than leaving town for it. That's kind of nice and kind of a bummer all at the same time, but we didn't have to find someone to watch our dog 3 weekends in a row, so I suppose that is a really really good thing.) I'm also attempting a blog post at 8 a.m. -- I am so NOT a morning person. My brain doesn't really fire up 'til at least 9 a.m.
I thought I'd share a few pictures from our time at Monarch Mountain last weekend. We went there to celebrate Drew's birthday by learning how to snowboard. We came back very very sore (I'm still feeling the pain a week later), but thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and hope to get up there at least one more time before they close for the season.
It seems that we've been kind of busy, in a really fun way, and that it will only continue for the next month or two. This coming Thursday we fly back to Virginia for a long weekend with our parents and Drew's family. This will be the first time that we've seen them since Drew returned. I know we're all really looking forward to some quality time together WITH Drew there.
Alright -- I have to go get myself presentable for today's events. More later. :)
PS...Can I tell you how much I wish I still had a hot tub waiting for me in my room at the end of the day????

Is the water in that hot tub colored blue? Kind of weird...

ha...it does look like it, now that you mention it. :-) That's actually a cover that just rested on the surface of the water. :-) I miss you, Amy! I hope all is going well!
