Still Waiting...

We've been a little MIA in the blog world since moving. That's because we are still waiting for our internet to be hooked up. Thankfully, we are able to come down to my parent's house and use their internet to stay connected in most ways, but the blogging thing just hasn't been happening. We've had one crazy situation after another while trying to get internet service. We waited for Verizon to install for a month, while they repeatedly pushed back our service date (a total of 5 or 6 times, I think?). We finally told them that we were fed up with it, and cancelled our order, going with another more local service that would be more expensive, but didn't seem to have the terrible customer service that Verizon did. They hoped to install today, but that didn't work out either (weather-related issues). So, we are back to waiting...and hoping, hoping, praying, praying, praying that it will be installed on Wednesday. I never imagined it could take this long, but we're just trying to have patience with it. And, we are quite thankful to have such nice neighbors who let us come use their internet to search for jobs, apply for jobs, and stay connected with friends at all hours of the day/night. :+)
